Captain Bobby was so friendly and accommodating! We wanted to do a combination of viewing the local wildlife and some backwater fishing around the mangroves. Bobby is so familiar with the area and knew the good spots. Only one of us is an experienced fisherman, and Bobby was so patient with all of us. We really enjoyed the opportunity to see the beautiful wildlife down here up close, including white pelicans, dolphins and a Manatee! Bobby at Big Z Charters is, by far, THE BEST, Fishing Charter we have EVER used! Every time we go out, Bobby finds the fish. His boat is extremely clean and versatile. He can go offshore or backwater. Yesterday, for example, we went off shore and the wind kicked up just a bit. His boat is long enough and wide enough that we cut through the seas easily. Bobby is retired Coast Guard so you will never be safer on the water. What we like most about Bobby, yes he is a great fisherman, but he is an even greater person. We have used him in all kinds of situations with our friends, (good fishermen, new fishermen, outgoing people, quiet people) and Bobby adapts his approach so that everyone feels comfortable. He had everything that we needed for our fishing trip. His communication about our trip reservation was always quick and informative. When we arrived to the marina, he was already there getting his boat ready for the trip. He was very attentive to our wishes and gave us options for our fishing experience. We chose to fish and keep our catch, for which he took us further from the shore. While fishing, he helped to set everything up, also helped the kids with getting the fish off. He was very friendly, easy-going and knowledgeable. We will definitely hire him again. This fishing trip was a lot of fun and created a great family memory for us and our children.
